Thanks, Eve. I’m particular interested in Children using and building AI. SPECIFICALLY around the security of agents created by students and growth through APIs, SIS/LMS and how it grows throughout school districts. One that the state of NJ is using a tool by Khan Academy called “Khanmigo” and a philanthropic accelerator (Newark,NJ +) through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Thanks for cluing me in to Khanmigo — I hadn't seen it before. EdTech and school apps intersect with my support of Internet Safety Labs (https://internetsafetylabs.org), which reviews apps with a product safety lens. They're working to add AI safety labels, and have been really diving deep into the safety/harms of school apps. *Disclosure: I'm on ISL's board.

I’m increasingly impressed with the conversation evolving into enforcement through fine‑grained, policy‑based access (student data, gradebooks, assessments, parent contact info) with on‑behalf‑of semantics and full audit trails for each agent action, aligning with zero‑trust and education‑sector compliance. IMHO, as it relates to local and state BOEs, stack Infrastructure will need to consider all types of identities that are easily governed by solid state solution.
