FrontEgg is an example of user management platforms growing up and challenging classic IAM, including in the new era where players are seeking to protect AI interactions in various ways. I predict we’re going to see more such solutions moving upmarket, and more adjacent platforms — such as HRIS’s — getting cozier with IAM.

Yes, please to more post like these. I follow a number of these identity / security newsletters. They are either “too-thinky” and suffer from TL;DR or “too-linky” and assume we have an entire day to read the internet. Having a curated list of the top 3 things that navigates the balance is useful. Good things come in threes.
